Jane Wallace-Jones

Managing Director

Jane founded the company in 1999 and now heads the buying team as well as taking an active role the day to day running of the warehouse. The warehouse distributes to many shops and therapy centres. Being in constant communication with new age outlets keeps the buyers keep up to date with all the latest developments and products as they come onto the market. Jane is a workaholic and doesn’t have much time for hobbies but she does try and keep fit.

Martin Wallace-Jones

Director

Martin is Jane’s husband. He takes responsibility for all the customer queries. Every order is checked after being picked to make sure it is exactly what the customer wanted. If any customer has any questions about their order it will be personally dealt with by Martin. Martin has become a house husband over the years they have been building the business, more due to necessity than design!

Tania David

Product design and New age knowledge

Tania is Martin and Jane’s daughter. Last year she finished her degree in complementary therapy which has made her an invaluable source of information. Using her knowledge she has created a range of Chakra balancing jewellery. She also writes the information pages and blogs for the web site. Tania has a great interest in alternative living and is always discovering interesting information which she shares with likeminded people on her blog. Tania keeps her hand in by offering her holistic treatment outside working hours.

Anthony David

General Manager

Anthony and Tania got married on the beach last year in Bali. Not only did the family have a lovely week in Indonesia but they also managed to fit in a few days buying!

Anthony joined the team six years ago. He has the responsibility of the day to day running of the company, in the last two years he has taken on more of the buying. He has a keen interest in sustainable living and fair trade which is reflected in the webs sites growing range of fair trade products. Anthony is currently working on the house he bought with Tania last year.

Derek Keynes

Warehouse foreman

Derek is in control of the goods in. His responsibility is to check all the stock coming in and allocate it to an area in the warehouse. Derek has a passion for travelling and before he joined the company eight years ago he travelled to many parts of the world. Derek is nearing retirement and hopes to see more of the world.

Nicola Phillips

Book keeper

Nicola has a wealth of experience in accountancy. Although she is kept very busy she manages to keep a tight rein on all the finances, this allows the company to keep their prices very competitive. Nicola has been with the company since April 2007. When she is not doing the company accounts she is keep busy with her two teenage daughters.

Mike Owen

Web Master

Mike is only eighteen but has a great understanding of technology. He is reasonable for updating the web site every day. He checks that the products are still available and enters all the new lines as they come in. He takes images of all the products and has taken all the staff images for this page. Mike enjoys his social life and is a member of a darts team.

Alison Owen

Order picker

Alison only joined the team in May 2009. Alison is Mike’s mother and has proved to be an excellent addition to the team. She picks orders and also helps in the packing room when needed. Alison is very conscientious and will always make sure she talks to her customers to offer an alternative item if there is anything unavailable. When Alison is not working for the New Age shop she enjoys reading and drawing.

Danielle Smith

Light goods in

Danielle joined the company in April 2007. She has a number of roles in the warehouse. She is in charge of booking in the crystals, jewellery, books and CD’s. She also picks many of the orders and answers the phone. Danielle has a reputation for speed and efficiency in the warehouse. Danielle enjoys accountancy and has one day a week in college studying for her level three accounts exams. Danielle enjoys socialising and has just taken up Salsa dancing.

Darren

Warehouse deputy Manager

Darren joined the company in 2008 as an order picker and packer. Darren proved to be a very conscientious and reliable and the team soon realised he had more potential. He now oversees the day to day running when Anthony and Jane are away. His background is in retail store management which has brought fresh ideas to the company in the last year. Darren has a wife and two small children so has no time for hobbies!

Ron Jones

Goods out

Ron has been with the company six years. Over the years his role has grown from picking and packing orders to running the goods out department. As well as packing many of the orders he checks all the orders are despatched on time and keeps a sharp eye on the carriers. Ron is nearing his retirement and is looking forward to spending more time with his new Grandson.

Kevin Morris

Kevin is the latest addition to the team. His background is in production and distribution for a fragrance company, he managed the despatch department for his former employees. Kevin is proving to be a diligent and hard working member of the team. Kevin pursued his dream of living in the sun & enjoyed five years in Spain running a supermarket selling British food Brands.
